The Undersigned Endorse the Passage of Santa Clara County Parks Charter Fund Measure in June 2006 Election

WHEREAS, preservation, maintenance and enhancement of parks and open space is vital to the quality of life of Santa Clara County residents; and,

WHEREAS, Santa Clara County parklands and park programs are essential in meeting park needs of County residents; and,

WHEREAS, the Measure on the June 2006 ballot would extend the current County Parks Charter amendment through the end of year 2021 providing an assured level of funding for Santa Clara County parks acquisition, development and operation without creating new taxes.

NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned:
